DESCRIPTION:PLEASE RSVP BELOW to Reserve Your Spot ~Thank You\n11:30 Doors Open\n12:00 – 1:00 Meeting\, Lunch and Forum\nCost – $20 cash or check (made out to La Brisa)**\nSpeaker –  Fox Maisel with The Texas Humane Legislation Network (THLN)  to learn more about this organization\nJoin us on to learn more. Register by Monday the week of the meeting and join us! \nThe Texas Humane Legislation Network’s (THLN) mission is to promote the humane treatment of animals through legislation\, education\, and advocacy.Since 1975\, THLN has solidified itself as the ONLY Texas-based mainstream organization that follows no national agenda\, only what’s good for Texas and its animals. \nOur IRS status as a 501c4 allows us to be political animal advocates\, by lobbying and working with our representatives to fix our lenient animal cruelty laws. While there are *thousands* of 501c3s in Texas formed to help animals\, they are *VERY* limited in how much they can lobby\, and are outright prohibited from participating in any partisan activities. \nFox Maisel has been an active member and Animal Advocate Ambassador for the Texas Humane Legislation Network (THLN) for many years. Most recently\, Fox worked with local representatives to provide education and advocacy on the THLN Ethical Pet Sales Bill and the Telemedicine Veterinarian Bill. Representatives Mayes Middleton and Terri Leo Wilson supported both pieces of legislation. \nFox’s mission is to educate the public about THLN’s work and to encourage others to become ambassadors by signing up for action alerts at www.thln.org\, helping to advance humane laws across the great state of Texas. \nLearn more about THLN \nJoin us by RSVPing with the form below. \nIf you have questions\, contact Hospitality via email here. \n**Please note: You may cancel up to 24 hours before the meeting\, free of charge (email above link).  After that time\, if we are charged by La Brisa for your RSVP\, you will be charged for your meal. \n\n\n \n \n RSVP Monthly Lunch Mtg Form\n RSVP of food choices for the monthly lunch meeting \n "*" indicates required fields \n \n X/TwitterThis field is for validation purposes and should be left unchanged.First Name*Last Name*Email*\n \n Lunch Reservation Choice ($20 each\, cash or check only)*\n \n Option #1 - Chicken fajitas with rice and beans\n \n \n Option #2 - Soup and salad combo (Chicken fajita with tortilla soup)\n \n \n Option #3 - Taco Salad (Ground Beef)\n Please select your menu option.
